Therapeutic Approach

Healing doesn't mean the damage never existed. It means the damage no longer controls our life.
My therapeutic approach is integrative — meaning I draw from several evidence-based and holistic modalities to meet each client’s individual needs. Healing is not one-size-fits-all, and I believe in working collaboratively to find what resonates most for you.
Below are some of the approaches I incorporate into my practice:

Attachment Theory
Explores the emotional bonds we form within our closest relationships. Our attachment styles are often shaped in childhood through experiences with parents or caregivers. Understanding these patterns helps us build healthier, more secure connections in the present.

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
Examines the relationship between thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. Together, we’ll identify unhelpful thought patterns and use mindfulness-based strategies to foster more balanced and compassionate ways of thinking.

EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing)
An evidence-based therapy that helps resolve distress, intrusive thoughts, and limiting beliefs related to past experiences or trauma. EMDR works by supporting the brain’s natural ability to heal and integrate.

EMDR Intensive
Offers the benefits of EMDR in a condensed format — typically 3–6 hours per day for consecutive days. EMDR Intensives are designed for clients who wish to process specific traumatic events or symptoms more quickly within a focused, supportive setting.

Inner Child Work
Encourages self-compassion and self-love as we reconnect with and heal the wounded parts of ourselves formed during childhood. This work can foster greater emotional resilience, self-acceptance, and inner peace.

Ketamine-Assisted Therapy
Provides a mind-expanding therapeutic experience using ketamine in a supportive, intentional setting. This approach can be beneficial for individuals experiencing treatment-resistant depression, anxiety, trauma, or those seeking deeper personal insight.

Ketamine-Assisted EMDR Therapy
Combines low-dose ketamine with EMDR to assist in lowering ego defenses, allowing for deeper processing. This integrative method promotes memory reconsolidation while providing neuroplasticity for new adaptive thought processes.

Parts Work (Internal Family Systems - IFS)
Explores the different parts of the self that develop as protective responses to difficult life events. By bringing curiosity and compassion to these inner parts, we can foster harmony, understanding, and self-integration.

Somatic Experiencing
A body-centered approach that focuses on releasing unprocessed emotions and tension stored in the nervous system. Somatic work deepens the window of tolerance while fostering a renewed sense of safety in the body.
