Evolving with Intention

Hi there! Thank you for taking the time to learn more about me and my practice. I’m passionate about helping people heal, grow, and reconnect with themselves and others. My work is grounded in curiosity, compassion, and a deep respect for the human capacity to heal.

I’m continually inspired by the fields of neuroscience and psychology, and I integrate insights from both into my therapeutic approach. I believe that understanding how our brains and bodies respond to stress and trauma can empower lasting change.

When I’m not reading or listening to a podcast, you can usually find me seeing live music, hiking, gardening, or painting — all things that help me stay grounded and connected to creativity and nature.

My Career Path

I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with over 16 years of experience supporting individuals and families through a wide range of life challenges. I received my Master’s Degree in Social Work from the University of Denver in 2014 and have been dedicated to helping others heal and grow ever since.

Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of working with diverse populations — including hospice clients, families navigating children’s mental health and behavioral challenges, survivors of domestic violence, and adults with developmental disabilities. These experiences have deepened my respect for resilience and strengthened my understanding of the complexity of trauma, attachment, and the human nervous system.

My true calling emerged in trauma therapy after completing training in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing). As an EMDR-trained therapist, in Lakewood, CO, I specialize in helping clients process traumatic experiences, reduce anxiety, and experience meaningful, lasting shifts. Witnessing those powerful “aha” moments — when insight, relief, and reconnection come together — remains one of the most inspiring aspects of my work.

Since then, I’ve continued to expand my education and understanding of psychedelic-assisted therapies and their potential for healing. My personal experiences with psychedelics have been truly transformative, strengthening my belief in the power of connection. I approach this emerging field with curiosity, responsibility, and a deep respect for its potential to support healing when paired with thoughtful preparation and integration.

As someone diagnosed as neurodivergent later in life, I bring both professional training and lived experience to my work. I understand masking, burnout, and the quiet effort it can take to move through a world not designed for your nervous system. As a neurodivergent therapist, my practice is neurodivergent-affirming and collaborative, grounded in the belief that each of us carries unique strengths, gifts, and ways of experiencing the world. I strive to create a space where you can feel at ease and fully yourself — and I model that authenticity in my own relaxed, grounded presence (you'll often find me barefoot in session)!
